Interview Recording Consent

Consent for Interview Recording and Transcription

By proceeding with this interview assessment, you explicitly consent to the following:

1. Recording and Transcription of Interview Session

What We Record:

  • Audio of your interview responses
  • Video recording solely for backup and quality purposes
  • Timestamp and session metadata information

Primary Purpose:

  • Audio transcription to text for analysis
  • Text-based AI analysis of your responses
  • Assessment of communication content and team fit compatibility
  • Backup video storage for quality assurance only

Important: We analyze only the transcribed text content of your responses. No facial recognition, emotion detection, or behavioral video analysis is performed.

2. Data Processing and Analysis

Text-Based AI Analysis: Your transcribed interview responses will be processed to analyze:

  • Communication clarity and content quality
  • Professional competency indicators
  • Team compatibility factors based on response content
  • Skills and experience alignment

No Audio/Video Analysis: We explicitly do not analyze:

  • Voice patterns, tone, or audio characteristics
  • Facial expressions or physical appearance
  • Body language or visual behavior
  • Any biometric or physiological data

Human Review: Authorized personnel may review transcriptions for:

  • Quality assurance of transcription accuracy
  • Algorithm improvement
  • Technical support and troubleshooting

3. Data Retention

Recording Storage:

  • Audio recordings are deleted within 7-14 days after successful transcription
  • Video recordings (backup only) are deleted within 7-14 days
  • Specific retention periods may vary based on hiring organization requirements
  • Transcribed text is retained for up to 24 months
  • Analysis results are retained for up to 24 months
  • Anonymized insights may be retained indefinitely for service improvement

Secure Storage: All data is encrypted and stored on secure servers with restricted access.

4. Data Sharing

With Hiring Organization:

  • Transcribed responses and analysis results will be shared with the organization considering your application
  • Raw audio/video recordings are never shared with hiring organizations unless explicitly requested for quality assurance purposes
  • Specific data sharing terms may be outlined in agreements with hiring organizations
  • Only text-based analysis and insights are provided as standard practice

No Third-Party Sales: We never sell or share your interview data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Your Rights

Withdrawal of Consent:

  • You may withdraw this consent at any time during the interview
  • Withdrawing consent will end the interview session immediately
  • Previously recorded content will be deleted within 7-14 days of withdrawal, subject to any existing contractual obligations with the hiring organization

Access and Deletion:

  • You may request access to your transcribed interview data
  • You may request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)

6. Technical Requirements

Recording Quality: For optimal transcription accuracy, please ensure:

  • Stable internet connection
  • Clear audio without background noise
  • Speak clearly and at normal volume
  • Minimize interruptions during responses

7. Data Processing Transparency

Transcription Process:

  • Audio is converted to text using automated speech recognition
  • Human review may occur only to verify transcription accuracy
  • Original audio is deleted once transcription is complete and verified

Analysis Scope:

  • Analysis is performed only on the text content of your responses
  • No analysis of how you speak, only what you say
  • Focus on professional competencies and team fit indicators

8. Legal Basis

This consent serves as the legal basis for processing your interview data under:

  • Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) - Canada
  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - European Union
  • Applicable provincial and regional privacy legislation
